Broy Engineering provides electronics and electrical manufacturing services for over 35 partner OEMs in the eastern North American region. Manufacturing challenges are most often the beginning of our long term and loyal customer relationships.
We operate with common sense values, and a genuine concern for what will make our customers successful. Many of the habits we have developed over our 40+ years in business are now recognized as LEAN manufacturing traits. Our growth within these values created a lean organization, which makes it unnecessary for us to now struggle to fit ourselves into this vogue new mould called Lean Manufacturing.
We are actively owner operated and self-financed with the ability to acquire capabilities and equipment on an as needed basis. We acquire the proven edge technology which is still very productive, and not burdened with steep depreciation costs. Through predictive maintenance, and simply our nature to fix, tweak, or repair equipment ourselves, we achieve a much greater return on our invested equipment capital than our competitors.
Cross training gives our employees relief from repetitive tasks, keeps our organization free of interruptions, and maximizes labour efficiencies because people can switch tasks as the work flow requires.
Our very high employee retention rate contributes greatly to the care and attention our customers; products receive. Over the years our employees get to know the products and the companies who rely on us. Employee training funds are better spent to increase productivity of our existing employees, rather than just bringing new ones up to speed.
